Galen and Theron are rural villagers, vassals to the Mountain Court. Their obligations to the court have become heavier, and the village elders decided to send them both to a known bandit lair. Those bandits have stolen from travellers and other villagers, and now they are disposing of their goods anyway.
After speaking with crows and learning that four princes must be buried, the couple finished their travel to the local lair. Beneath a ruined bathhouse, they found an old iron door held ajar by a silver skull.
They fought a Murk inside it. The adventurers killed a bandit and, later, a hairy animal. They met a Chaos Champion, who showed them the bandit’s stash. The Champion said one had to stay here since they had slain his pets.
Galen did not think through when he threw their torch at the Champion. Their light is gone. Galen and Theron are now the Champion’s pets.

Galen e Theron são aldeões rurais, vassalos da Corte da Montanha. Suas obrigações para com a corte tornaram-se mais pesadas, e os anciãos da aldeia decidiram enviá-los a um conhecido esconderijo de bandidos. Esses bandidos têm roubado viajantes e outros aldeões, e agora seus bens de qualquer forma.
Depois de conversar com corvos e descobrir que quatro príncipes devem ser enterrados, o casal completou sua viagem até o esconderijo local. Sob uma casa de banho em ruínas, eles encontraram uma antiga porta de ferro mantida entreaberta por um crânio de prata.
Eles lutaram contra um Murk dentro dela. Os aventureiros mataram um bandido e, mais tarde, um animal peludo. Eles conheceram um Campeão do Caos, que lhes mostrou o esconderijo dos bandidos. O Campeão disse que um deles teria que ficar ali, já que haviam matado seus animais de estimação.
Galen não pensou direito quando atirou sua tocha no Campeão. A luz deles se foi. Galen e Theron agora são animais de estimação do Campeão.
